I've always loved experimenting with technology. I would spend hours as a kid writing silly UI scripts for choose your own adventure games. I joined my high school's technology club and competed in various competitions such as VEX robotics.
What started as a curiosity around computers grew into a full career. I picked up a CS minor alongside my MIS degree, kept learning while working full-time, and eventually earned a Master's in Computer Science from Georgia Tech.
My sweet-spot is backend work. I like handling data and developing complex systems. I also find it fun to automate things, and if you've ever lost a weekend to Factorio, you probably feel me.
Outside of programming, I enjoy all types of games (video games, board games, sports). I like any activity that makes me think and has a high skill ceiling.
I also enjoy language learning and have been learning Spanish since December 2023.
